Diversity-themed Conversations: Social Construct of Identity
This fall, the Office of Inclusion and Community Engagement will be hosting a four-part series of diversity-themed sessions open to the Springfield College community. The series is designed to foster and support a welcoming and inclusive environment for all community members. You are encouraged to attend all sessions as we develop a community of practice.
In this session, attendees will explore the cycle of socialization to better understand how and why they believe what they do about others. Attendees will also discuss their self-identified social identity groups and how these groups impact their daily lives.
This session is free and open to the Springfield College community.
