What is FiTT Lab?

The Foot Intrinsic Testing and Training (FiTT) lab is dedicated to exploring and understanding the role of the intrinsic foot muscles in foot structure and function, as well as in overall body alignment, balance, and functional mobility.  We research these small foot muscles in people of all ages to inform physical therapists and other healthcare providers of effective and efficient treatment practices for their patients.

The plantar intrinsic foot muscles exist in several layers on the bottom of the foot.
