Title IX Advocacy in Action Open House

Join Distinguished Springfield Professor of Humanics Kathy Mangano for presentations of student, faculty, and staff advocacy projects that focus on strengthening and securing Title IX. Through her Distinguished Professor project, Title IX at 50: Educate & Advocate, she is exploring and promoting actions to support Title IX, the landmark legislation that prohibits sex-based exclusion or discrimination under any program or activity that receives federal funding.

This event is open to the Springfield College community and the public. Attendees are encouraged to view the displays and talk with presenters about the meaning behind their projects. Throughout the 90 minutes, there will be brief presentations by a few project participants.

Title IX T-shirts will be distributed to attendees while supplies last. Refreshments will be served.
