THRIVE Scholars Program Workshop – Cultural and Diversity Counseling
Presented by Gayl Crump-Swaby, EdD, LCSW
Gayl Crump-Swaby, EdD, LCSW, is an associate professor in the Springfield College Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. She received her Master of Social Work from Boston University and her Doctor of Education from Nova Southeastern University. Crump-Swaby most recently published a book, titled Unlocking Legacies and Releasing Burden: How to Let Go of Generational Traumas & the Wounds that Keep Us Chained to the Past. Crump-Swaby has extensive experience greatly impacting organizational performance through dynamic programs focused on student emotional, cognitive, and physical development using a multicultural approach.
The workshops are free and open to Springfield College students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
