Spring 2024 Conflict Management Workshop – Negotiating Power Differences
Need a little more peace in your life? Look no further than the spring 2024 conflict management workshops presented by Amy Sereday, CO-OP, Springfield College ombuds. These workshops provide practical tools, insights, and strategies for resolving conflict, fostering collaboration, and improving communication. Strong conflict management skills are a valuable asset in the workplace, classroom, and beyond.
For those who are unable to attend in person, you can join the workshops via Zoom.
In organizations and in life, we’re more likely to negotiate across power imbalances than in line with them. But whether we are in a higher power or lower power position, communicating across the divide is often uncomfortable. In the “Negotiating Power Differences” workshop, we will unpack power and discuss some practical strategies for navigating power differences successfully.
These workshops are open to all staff and faculty.
Whether full time or part time, tenured or adjunct, we hope you will join us!
