Positionality as Social Workers: How Who We Are Shows Up in What We Do

Dominique is a clinician in CT who has developed a clinical consulting agency working with primarily female Social Workers of color to provide Clinical Supervision and licensure preparation to increase representation among mental health providers and access to treatment for marginalized communities. Dominique was invited as a presenter for the Society of Social Work Research National Conference in January 2023 to share the findings of her, and her colleagues original research article, “Impact of
the Covid-19 Pandemic on Social Support, Coping Resources and Access to Services for Incarcerated Youth“ which is pending publication.
