Lunch and Learn: Systemic Racism: An examination of public policies and their lingering effects

Hill will explore the GI Bill and redlining as a determinant of where one lives, and how where one lives impacts social outcomes.

Hill has more than 20 years of experience working in higher education with a focus on diversity and inclusion. He is a consultant on diversity issues and presents nationally on issues of inclusion, where he focuses primarily on providing equal access to educational opportunities for underrepresented populations. He earned his PhD in political science, with concentrations in public policy, and Black political thought at Howard University.
