Spring 2024 Conflict Management Workshop – Circle Keeping

Apr 11, 2024 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Need a little more peace in your life? Look no further than the spring 2024 conflict management workshops presented by Amy Sereday, CO-OP, Springfield College ombuds. These workshops provide practical tools, insights, and strategies for resolving conflict, fostering collaboration, and improving communication. Strong conflict management skills are a valuable asset in the workplace, classroom, and beyond.

For those who are unable to attend in person, you can join the workshops via Zoom.

A restorative circle (or dialogue circle) is a conflict resolution process. Circles provide a framework for groups to resolve conflict, facilitate dialogue, make decisions, and explore issues, while promoting a spirit of open-mindedness and deep listening. The use of circles in education is growing every day. Together, we’ll learn the basics of circle keeping and consider ways to incorporate circles in classrooms, meetings, residence halls, teams, and elsewhere.

These workshops are open to all staff and faculty.
Whether full time or part time, tenured or adjunct, we hope you will join us!

For questions about these workshops or about the Office of the Ombuds, please contact Amy Sereday at asereday@springfield.edu or (413) 748-3943.
