7:30 am - 4:30 pm
We plan to bring together an interdisciplinary team of academicians, community organizers, elected officials, community-based organizations, and families with lived experience to provide leadership in the identification of targeted solutions to systemic problems affecting the Latino family at varying points across the child welfare continuum.
Our keynote speaker, Edward W. Caisse III, Unit Director at the Hampden County Sheriff’s Office, will open the conference, which will feature workshops, panel discussions, and poster presentations on three themes: individual and family welfare, strong social fabric, and a just society. It will create a significant forum for social and educational benefits for attendees, speakers, and sponsors alike.
