Shattered Ice Film Viewing
The film Shattered Ice, written and produced by Jake Miskin ’13, is a story centered on a small-town New England teenage hockey player’s attempt to navigate high school life when his best friend dies by suicide. The goal of the film is to normalize the conversations around suicide, raise awareness, tell a powerful story, and send a message to other teenagers/young adults that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, even in the darkest times. Miskin is the founder of Nehoiden Street Films, and the organization is partnering with The Hidden Opponent to hold showings of the film across New England. Springfield College will be the first college on the tour to show the film. There is no cost to attend, and attendees are welcome to stay for a panel discussion following the film.
